We started off the year with a gentle introduction to CRE8 Lab for all our new attendees. It was great to see them making new friendships, while helping and encouraging each other.
UnderWaterColour Art
Learning to watercolour, and then adding pen and ink to create an underwater scene:
Stationery Wax Seals
Using discarded corks and old coins and buttons, students made seals to impress into faux “wax” made from hot glue:
Native Bee Hotel
To celebrate the addition of our new AHS Native Bee Hive, we created mini hotels from paper straws and ceramic mugs to help pollinate our own backyards with solitary bees:
Aztec Sun Knot Keychains
Every AHS brown bag needs a keychain, and students had fun learning macrame sun knots:
