Workshop #1, Term 4, 2023

Cre8 Lab Workshops are off to a great start this term with students creating bowls from magazine pages. This was a great introduction to upcycling, and the students were amazed with how sturdy a thin strip of paper can become!

They folded, glued, coiled and then ever-so-slowly shaped their bowls before coating the inside with PVA glue to protect the interior and keep their bowls in shape.

What a transformation from discarded supermarket recipe magazines to beautiful, unique and usable decor!
