Workshop #4, Term 3, 2023

Workshop participants rounded off this term with a fun gift for Father’s Day.

Using a special photo transfer medium, students took a favourite printed photo and coated it with the medium before sticking it face down onto a ceramic coaster. Once dry, they rubbed the paper off with a damp sponge, leaving the reverse image transferred onto the surface of the coaster and then sealed it, ready for use.

It’s been a busy term with interruptions and assessments, making the calm and relaxing environment of CRE8 Lab such a welcome reprieve from the pressures of everyday school life. We love seeing the students’ happy faces and the excitement that comes from having created something with their own hands.
