The week of wire wrapping was very successful with each student making at least 3 different styles. We were so busy that we didn’t get as many photographs as we would have liked.

This is the first week back for the Cre8 Lab, and the students are really keen to learn about wire wrapping. During the week long workshops, the students will learn 4 different types of wrapped rings, increasing in difficulty as they go. Our first “Rose” ring was a big hit and most of the girls completed at least two rings. During the workshops not only do the students learn wrapping techniques, they learn design techniques and collaborative learning. They are encouraged to work together and try new things as they learn. Each day will be a new ring, so I will keep you posted with the different designs.
