Throughout Term 3, students have been participating in a Mario Kart eSports tournament on the Nintendo Switch. Like traditional sports, eSports can teach team building, leadership, and communication skills. In addition, it also fosters student engagement and interest in STEM subjects.

Led by Mrs Woolmer, sixteen eager participants ranging from Years 5 to 10, battled it out in three exciting heat sessions, before quarter finals, semi finals, and then the ever-challenging grand final.

Below are the students who played in the grand-final, winning trophies that were custom 3D-printed by Mrs Woolmer. Congratulations girls!
