20th July 2017

Just a couple of students completing their E.L Wire projects, and then it is on the the Sugar Skull LED pins next week.  Everyone enjoyed the workshops and are very keen to do more with the Cre8 Lab.

Check out the latest photos.

Another group of enthusiastic students have started their E.L wire projects,  they are making perfect progress and will be completed tomorrow afternoon.

The pots have definitely been the most popular.

Our first workshop for Term 3 is Electroluminescent wire decorations, or E.L Wire.  Electroluminescent wire is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor which glows when an alternating current is applied to it. It can be used in a wide variety of applications.

The students had a choice of Pots or Canvas.  I am happy to say that a few have taken the project to another level, adding paint to the canvas and glitter to the pots.

Here are some of the projects in construction and the end result of the first students to finish.
